£20,000 and counting!

THANKS TO your incredible generosity our appeal is going from strength to strength.
Last week alone more than £10,000 found its way to our Glasgow office. It takes the total since we launched our campaign on March 4 to more than £20,000.
In those three weeks we’ve had hundreds of letters from kind-hearted readers enclosing cheques and postal orders for all sorts of amounts.
One generous lady from Perth read about our appeal and decided to send a cheque for an amazing
£5000.

The reader, who wishes to remain anonymous, said,
“I just thought it was such a worthwhile cause. So much is required of the NHS and of hospitals these
days that I decided I should help. I was in the process of reorganising some of my finances so I decided to make this donation. I’ve always been interested in all things associated with medicine and wish you every success in your appeal.”
Another couple, from Aberdeen, sent a generous
£2000 and a gent, originally from the Borders but now living in the north of England, added a cheque for £1000. They, too, preferred to remain anonymous.
We’re delighted to hear from each and every one of you, regardless of the size of your donation. Big or small, we welcome them all.
Please tell us if there are any specific reasons for
your gift. We’d like to share your stories with everyone else who wants to help Scotland’s sick children.
