MARGARET
PLANK, of Lincolnshire, was so touched by the recent fundraising efforts
of model pupils at Morgan Academy she decided to support the campaign herself. The staff and pupils at the Dundee school got together for a magnificent fashion show which raised a stunning £1200 for our appeal. Margaret sent us
a cheque for £50 in memory of her husband, Eugene, who spent 15 years working as a biology teacher at Morgan before he retired in 1983. Eugene passed away in November 2003. Margaret said, “This is in memory
of my very special husband of 50 years who is sadly missed by myself, his daughters and grandchildren. He was a very kind man so this is what he would have wanted. “A lot of hard work must have gone
into organising the fashion show and the children are to be commended for their efforts.”
